Our Story
Golden Hawk Transportation was founded in 1980 as Aluminum Express with 11 trucks and 20 trailers located in Lexington, Ohio. In 1988, the company name was changed to Golden Hawk Transportation, then in 1989 the company moved to the current facility at 4594 Lincoln Hwy and began hauling for ArcelorMittal Tubular Products in Shelby, Ohio. Since that time, the company started to and continued to gain new clients in the steel, other building, and construction materials industries that have led to our growth where we now have 65 total trucks in our fleet. This growth was attributed to great customer performance and word of mouth as the company has never hired any sales representatives.
